Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is your fee?
A: My standard fee is $175 per individual session (50 minutes). Longer sessions for couples or families are at a prorated fee.
Q: Do you take insurance?
A: I do not take insurance at this time. Check with your insurance provider to see if they will reimburse you directly for all or part of the cost for “out of network” services. I can provide a superbill (receipt for services) suitable for submission to your insurance provider for this purpose.
Q: What methods of payment do you accept?
A: Cash, Check, or Credit Card. You have the option of paying via Credit Card in session or post session via an electronic invoice that I will send to you.
Q: Where do I park?
A: Free parking is located behind the building, adjacent to the Citizens Bank Building parking lot. Please make sure you do not park in the bank parking lot in order to avoid towing. If parking is unavailable, please locate available street parking in the local area.
I am located on the second floor. When you enter the suite’s waiting area, please locate the wall switchboard, and flip the switch next to my name, to indicate your presence. I will then come out to the waiting area to invite you inside.
Q: What do I need to do before my first session?
A: Please print, review, and complete these forms prior to our first scheduled appointment. It will help our time together be more productive! If you have any questions or concerns about these, do not hesitate to contact me. We will review all forms at the beginning of the first session.
Q: What is your cancelation policy?
A: I understand that unplanned issues can come up and you may need to cancel an appointment. If that happens, I respectfully ask for scheduled appointments to be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice are difficult to fill. By giving last minute notice or no notice at all, another interested client loses an opportunity to be scheduled into that time slot. Therefore, this policy will enable me to open otherwise unused appointments to better serve the needs of all clients. A full session fee will be charged for no-show appointments and appointments not cancelled within 24 hours. Exceptions will be made for medical and family emergencies.
Q: Do you accept “friend requests” from social media?
A: I do not accept friend requests from current or former clients on social networking sites, such as Facebook or Linked-In. I believe that adding clients as friends on these sites and/or communicating via such sites is likely to compromise their privacy and confidentiality. For this same reason, I request that clients not communicate with me via any interactive or social networking websites.
